hello again

Hi - sorry I have been absent here for a little while.

First I caught a really nasty cold that had me down for about 4 days. Then it went to a chest cold that I think I am coming back from - feeling a bit better. 

My mom arrived last week and made sure I got the rest I needed. Thanks mom!! You rock!

Then my brother got back from Iraq for a quick 2 week vacation before heading back to "war". So I have squeezed some time in with him and his wife. 

And I had a birthday - so I took some time to celebrate. 

Also exciting to know is that we are about 3 days from hitting our 1 year anniversary. YEAH!!! Thanks for your support - it is why we are still here. Look for an invite to a little celebration at the beginning of March. We are waiting until March because - I am going on a real vacation!!

My guy is taking me to Paris for my birthday - and I will have 8 days away. The most in more 2 years!

So thats whats happening here. 

And don't forget about our amazing adoption event this coming Saturday the 13th from 11-5. 25+ puppies and some adult dogs. Stop in and let one steal your heart!
