All I can say is wow. Yesterday we had another adoption event with Under-Dawgz Rescue. Forty five dogs and puppies arrived that morning along with some pretty amazing volunteers. 

Long before we were even open people began to arrive in anticipation of getting that one dog they had set their hopes on. We opened the doors to a flood of families looking for that perfect pup. 

Dogs were adopted, puppies made accidents, talks of potty training and pet nutrition were heard all over the store. It was busy, high energy, fun and inspiring. And when it was all over 35 dogs had found new homes. Incredible I saw. 

These events fill me up in so many ways! I love seeing pups and people come together. And am so excited to get some photos and updates from the people who went home with new best friends. 

It was a long day and I think my brain was pretty melted by then end of it. But I slept good knowing that what we did made a small dent in the long long list of pets in need. 

We will continue to do these events. Our next is Saturday, February 13th from 11-5. We always need volunteers - if you are eager to help out let me know.
